Kamikiri is a bird-like yo-kai is known far and wide for his annoying mischief. This behavior of him and his kind of yo-kai comes from his selected diet and favorite food, hair. In the wild, he usually enjoys munching on the hair of an animal, like the wool of a sheep or the fur of a monkey. However, every now and then Kamikiri likes to eat the hair off an unsuspecting human. He sometimes leaves the Forest of Spirits and enters the nearest human populated area to feast. Sometimes he will wait for a human to fall asleep, when he can easily use his scissor-like claws and sharp beak to snip off a meal, other times he will take advantage of when the human is too distracted with something else to notice him, and, occasionally when he is really hungry, he will creep on an unsuspecting human, pounce on top of their head, and eat the hair off the panicking person. Kamikiri sometimes even annoys his fellow yo-kai when he decides he wants a taste of their hair. This is especially annoying to the yo-kai, Keukegen, who is a living pile of hair. Still, Kamikiri knows how to be a nice guy and he apologizes for his hair eating shenanigans by casting a spell that makes his victims' hair quickly grow back, healthier than ever.
