βWe knew the world would not be the sameβ βFew people laughed...β
βFew people criedβ. Most people were silent.β
βI remembered the line from the scripture, the Bhagavad-Gita.β
βVishnu is trying to persuade the Prince that he should do his duty, and, to impress him, takes on his multi-armed form, and says
βNow I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds.β I suppose we all thought that, one way or another.β - Robert Oppenheimer

Couldn't have say it better myself "took the pain and horror and made it into a monster." And that monster has endured just as long telling that story to remind us, shan't we forget.Β

Something that's always bugged me about US Godzilla films is most times they don't remember what horrors they unleashed to inspire Big G.
Powerful piece to remind people the devastation of the 2 bombs.

One of the most powerful metaphors of the Bomb I ever saw. This gothic/baroque horror piece is absolutely stunning.

what happened to the survivors of the bombs was more horrendous then anything the bomb did.

But if it happened as a result of the bomb doesnβt that technically make it something that the bomb did?Β

yeah, what he meant was the blast not the bomb

Godzilla in the first movies was really meant to be the representation of thousands souls who lost their lives on that day. The reincarnation of hate against humanity

Awesome work and, while Godzilla has changed over the years, this is what he started out and represented the Atomic Bomb. Also, may the people of Hiroshima rest in peace.
