"General!"

The draenei paused on his march, lightly leaning his head over his shoulder upon recognizing the lieutenant's voice. Raven arrived on a black stallion, her hair wavering along the wind that blew against her direction. Despite her exclamation for the general, her features showed calmness - or, perhaps, the monotonous tone of her voice was one of the characteristics she'd acquired since her resurrection as a Death Knight. Though he too was calm, Sobek's features displayed mild annoyance, like he intended to intimidate the elfess - even if he had no such intentions. It was his resting face, the countenance he always exhibited; rustic, stoic, unreadable. If anything, he showed distress, hidden subconsciously under the faint notion of memories that plagued his mind.

Like the wind too stopped to listen, Raven's violet strands of hair fell over her shoulders, in between the gaps of her armor and her shoulderplates.

"New orders have arrived from the Lich King." She proceeded, pulling at the stallion's reins as she neared her superior. "He demands we march to Exodar, sir."

Sobek raised a brow upon analyzing the lieutenant's gaze briefly. Although she expressed no concern or sympathy for the draenei, or for the fact they were to march towards his home lands, there was an ounce of confusion in her eyes, as though she couldn't understand the general's expression.

"... Sir?"

A soft sigh left his cold lips, turning the air he exhaled into a misty wave of ice particles.

He knew he was meant to feel something. There had to be something, anything, inside himself, that would try to keep him from rising against his own nation. More than anyone, the Death Knight knew that bringing the Lich King's troops to Exodar would be only for its destruction, and to add to the King's evergrowing army of undead. Perhaps, while he still lived, he would have refused - even if it was within his nature to obey without hesitation, he would never allow chaos to be brought upon the Naaru.

However, he felt...

... Nothing.

"Allign our troops." At last, he replied in his usual gellid tone, like the information she'd delivered hardly caught his interest. "We march tonight."

Sobek is and has always been one of my most favorite characters and I could never let him die <3 I'm bringing him into life for this lovely World of Warcraft AU, as a Frost Death Knight.

The Lieutenant is Raven, a high elf DK owned by Cerberuswarczenie . Both Raven and Sobek are based off old characters of ours - Sobek , from a lion RP group I used to be a part of, and Raven , from EVC.

Here they are about to march to Exodar, where he's about to have some flashbacks about his old life and, coincidently, become the mentor to a brand new soldier, who will be risen from the dead in there - Yiesha.

Hope you like it ^u^ had some free time this weekend so i managed to finish it.
