A watercolor done at work of a more true-to-life Kai (as in... his eyes are blue
)I love having time during calls to paint! XD Well, needless to say the painting looks better... my digital camera isn't best for drawings... but it wouldn't fit in my scanner so it was my only choice. ^^:

I'm falling behind in deviations too. >.< When it comes to watercolors... it was the first ever painting medium I was introduced to. So naturally, since I've had more practcve with it (even moreso than colored pencils... I suck with colored pencils) it's the medium I know the best.

The kind I use is actually fairly cheap and easy to find. Though I prefer professional grade watercolor paper... it's really expensive so I have to use Strathmore cold-presses paper (which has been available at every hobby/art shop I have ever been in and even Walmart sometimes!). I also recommend trying out watercolor blocks.. which is basically watercolor pads that are secured down on all sides that to minimize bowing. ^.^
