The silver haired girl, who's eyes are now a fierce crimson red, with a red fire protruding out of the right one, screamed in a both angry, and pained tone."Ah...AHHHHHHHH!!!"
(Hahahaha!! It's going just as I planned! this foolish little girls body is too weak to fight against my power! Ah, but I'll have a little fun, first...)
(No...Stop it! This isn't me!)
(Oh, but it is, little girl. This is exactly what you wanted, is it not? You want to avenge your dear friend...You want revenge on those foul humans who took your parents away from you...You want them all to suffer!)
She kneels to the ground covering her face.
(No! I won't let you...Take control of me!)
(Hahahaha!! Struggle all you want! Your body is under my control now!)
Suddenly, the amulet over the girls neck, gives off a faint glow.
"No! Don't let the darkness inside you, take over! If you do, the world will be destroyed! You must fight it!"
(Hmph...It's no use, her heart is too weak, to combat my power)
As her screams continue, they progressively become louder, and more distorted.
A group of soldiers on a top balcony watch her, as a man wearing a similar outfit to Kogas approaches. He wears a helmet, that completely hides his face. metal plated gloves, and metal plated boots. A large sword is mounted on his back.
"What's going on?"
"Ahh! uh Gredus, sir! Well...I honestly have no clue..."
"What...You fool! That is our target down there! How could you let her awaken her powers!?"
"We tried what we could! But, Koga seemed to be determined to protect her, for some reason..."
"Dammit...Then, I'll take care of her!"
"But sir! her energy level is at 89%! At that level, she could kill you, even!"
He pulls the sword out of his sheath.
"Which is why we must kill her, before she reaches 100%"
With that, he jumps down to the floor the girl is on, pointing his large sword at her.
"Foul demon! I will dispose of you, at once!"
With a loud battle cry, he runs toward the girl, but is knocked back completely, by a red force field.
"What? Damn!"
(Hah...Seems the humans want to see your power, little girl...Well, don't be shy!)
(No...!)
Her eyes pulse for a second, as her voice completely changes.
"Ahh...Finally free..."
"That voice...!"
The girl laughs loudly, a sinister grin on her face. It seemed she had lost control, finally...
"You foolish humans thought you could keep me sealed inside this body, forever? Hah! how stupid of you!"
"Now...It's time to end your existence!!"
The girl rose into the air, her skin beginning to crackle. With a bright light, a creature appears, with long bloody claws. It's body looks to be made of bone, but is harder than steel. It's face is covered in blood, and has bright piercing red eyes.
In the middle, is the girls body, trapped inside a crystal.
It digs it's claws into the ground, causing large bone spires to stab out of the ground, skewering countless civilians and soldiers.
"Uaghhh!!"
With that, the citadel falls into chaos, as screams echo through the area, and civilians run from the horrid creature...
"Hahaha! Scream for me, worthless humans!!"
The girl stands trapped inside the crystal, a frown on her face, as she thinks to herself.
(I'm sorry...I failed...I was too weak...I'm...Sorry...Koga...Shojin...Mom...Dad...Please...Forgive me...)
With all the commotion, the brown haired man from earlier walks outside, to see the chaos...And his friend laying on the ground unconscious, and bleeding...
"What the hell...? Koga!"
He rushes over to him, checking the wound.
"Koga! What happened!? What IS that thing...!?"
"...."
"Dammit! You're just lucky, I'm a healer..."
He gently places his hand over the wound, creating a soothing light.
".....H-hmm...?"
"Oh good, looks like your injury wasn't that bad..."
"Shima...What's...happening...?"
Koga looks around, to see the citadel crumbling, and in chaos.
"I...Honestly have no idea..."
He attempts to stand up.
"Fiena! Where is she...?"
"Hold on! You're hurt! don't move around so much"
Koga reaches in a pouch attached to his leg, pulling out gauze tape, and rapping his wound.
"I don't have time to rest...I can see now, that creature is her..."
"So, that's the power she has..."
"The creature that threatened to destroy this world, has finally returned"
Koga approaches the creature.
"What are you doing!? You're crazy, if you think you're going to defeat that thing, by yourself!"
Suddenly, a voice rings into his head.
(You are the only one, that can save that child. You must save her!)
Suddenly a bright aura surrounds him.
(I will lend you my power. Use it to reach out to her, and bring her back to her normal self)

The aura becomes stronger, as an armor begins to form on the mans body.
(Awaken...Vanguard!)
A blinding light flashes, as the man appears, in a white armor that covers his entire body. the armor has multiple yellow slash marks, and blades attached. His weapon is now a large double edged spear sword, that is surrounded by a yellow aura. His eyes are a bright red, that show an emptiness.
"What is this...?"
(You are worthy of wielding the power of the guardians, and have awakened your true self)
"My true self...?"
The creature turns to the transformed Koga.
"What is this energy...?"
The girl trapped inside the crystal slowly begins to open her eyes.
(Koga...? Is that you?)
(Shut up, foolish girl!)
A chain grips her by her neck, holding her back, and choking her.
(Umf...!)
Under the armor you cannot tell what Kogas expression is, but you can tell by his tone, he's angry.
"Bastard...I won't let you use her as you please!"
"Just try and stop me then!"
The creature thrusts it's bloody claws at Koga, but shatter when they hit him.
"Impossible...!"
Koga then dashes forward with his double bladed spear, thrusting it into the creatures face.
"Agh!"
As he damages the creature, he notices blood leaking down the girls head...
"...! Dammit!"
He grabs the spear, and moves further away from the creature.
"How can I damage it without hurting Fiena...?"
(You must destroy the crystal that imprisons her, once she is freed, the demon will weaken, and eventually be resealed back into her body)
"But, do we really want that?"
(There is no other option)
Koga looks around the area, noticing his captain on the other side.
"You! Get out of here! Let me handle this!"
He grunts at the thought of someone ordering him, but puts his sword away, and runs in the other direction.
"Fine then! I'll leave this to you!"
"So, I have to destroy that crystal..."
(Strength alone will not break it. You must reach out to that girl)
"But, how?"
Just as he tries to think of a way to free her, the creature lunges at him.
"Die!"
He dodges it's bloody fangs, and stabs his spear into the crystal, somewhat cracking it.
"Fiena!! Can you hear me!?"
(....Ko..ga...)
"Hang in there!"
"Silence, foolish human!"
The creature sends multiple bone spikes at him, somewhat denting the armor, and knocking him back a little.
"Ugh!"
(Ko..ga...)
(Silence foolish girl!)
The chain around her neck tightens and begins to pull back.
(Ngh...!)
"Dammit! let her go!"
He charges an energy wave through his hand, throwing it at the crystal, and cracking it a little more.
The creature rams into Koga, sending him across the area, slamming into a pillar.
"Ugh..."
(You must hurry! I can't merge my body with yours for much longer!)
Kogas body begins to weaken, as he starts taking multiple shots from the creature.
"I can't...Give in..."
Suddenly the armor begins to fade away, revealing Kogas regular body bleeding and cut in multiple places.
(Hehehe...You still don't see it? He just wants you to die...You threaten this world, remember? Your existence is frowned upon...You will be forever alone...Hiding in the shadows...)

Voices begin to ring in her head...
"What a freak, why doesn't she just die..."
"Your a threat to this city, to this world. Therefor you must die"
"Get away from me, demon!"
(I am...a demon...I am...alone...There is nothing for me here...)
Just as she begins to close her eyes, a familiar voice is heard.
"No!"
(Huh...?)
Koga stands up, limping towards the creature with his blade in hand.
"I know that's not you, Fiena...! I know that isn't the real you! Don't let that demon fool you! You're not alone!"
"Hmph, what a fool. This girl is under my control now, nothing you say will phase her..."
(Koga...Koga!)
(Silence!)
The chain becomes tighter, pulling her back, but the girl continues to struggle.
(No...! I won't let you do this! I won't let you...! I WON'T LET YOU!!!)
The chain shatters, as the girl begins hitting the crystal
(I don't care what you say...I don't care if I'm a demon...But, I won't let you hurt my friends!)
(Silence! your being is under my control! obey my commands!!)
Strange looking roots grab the girl, and begin pulling her further away.
"Hang in there Fiena...I'll save you...!"
He sprints forward, stabbing his sword into the crystal, but also being impaled by a bone spear...
(Ngh...! No!)
He coughs a bit of blood, staining the middle part of his mask red.
(Koga! Koga! no!)
"....I know you can do it, Fiena...You're stronger than that demon...You have something it doesn't...! You have others! You're not alone Fiena!!"
"Silence!"
(NO!!!)
Suddenly a bright light fills the crystal, and it completely shatters, freeing the girl.
She emerges from the fragments, hugging her new friend, Koga.

"I'm so sorry...It's all because I was too weak, to fight against it...No...I didn't even try..."
"But...You're free now...And, that's all that matters..."
The bone spires quickly disintegrate.
"No...NOOOOO!!! I won't be beaten!"
Suddenly, a voice is heard.
"You have no choice. Your fun ends now"
A figure appears, but it appears transparent...It cannot be seen fully...
A dark red symbol appears above the girl, as the demon begins to fade away.
"Don't think this is over! I will take my revenge on you humans!"
The girl stares at her hand, then closes her eyes.
"So, it's been sealed back inside me..."
"Yeah..."
Suddenly, a more cheerful part of the girl emerges.
"In that case, I'll just have to become stronger, so I can control it!"
"Are you sure you're ready to take that responsibility on?"
She opens her eyes.
"Yes...Actually Koga...You seem like you know a lot...Could you teach me, and make me stronger...?"
He widens his eye slightly, but smiles slightly.
"I'll teach you what I can...If you're really willing to learn...But for now..."
He looks at her bruised and cut body, and the gash in his stomach beginning to re open.
"Let's just rest..."
She hugs him warmly.
"Yeah..."
