So from the thumbnail I already knew this was a deeply moving, emotional piece on how even the greatest of creatures fall. And of course I was going to comment on the stunning lighting.Β
THEN I noticed the baby. And the sibling's skull. Damn. That was a hit in the feels I wasn't prepared for this morning. But the baby adds a little extra punch to the gut once you find her, not knowing why Mama isn't moving. An excellent piece of paleoart, good on you

In fact I used to make a pre version for this one, about the mama rex was protecting her babies when theΒ asteroid dooming the world, but i didnt finish it for some reason and still dont want to cuz i bet ppl make this theme everyday..... Β then i went this one, thinking that it might be better than the old one.
