A very old commission for <3Thanks for putting up with my shenanigans, *Drenholm
This is officially the largest thing I've done at 363 MB as a .psd and over 400 layers.
It's not GINORMOUS - but it's pretty big.
Larson (left) and Pierre (right) are 'arguing' about where to go next on their adventure.

Kai, you have some major artistic skills. This is one of the best Sonic works i've seen on DA, hands down.
(And i've seen just about hundreds of thousands!)
I mean this fantasic work of art looks like a 3D Archie Sonic comic page! ...Simply amazing :3
I do see 1 notable flaw.. but I wouldn't want to spoil anything by mentioning that ^^

Considering the colors and the textures that go into the background, the size doesn't seem too surprising. Awesome piece of work. This makes me want to read an adventure novel. Also, they should watch out for giant boulders and snake pits.

Um... I'm just gonna throw this out there, but... 400 layers is pretty ginormous. And over 300 megs? I don't think I've ever done anything greater than 50.
Still, this is one of the best things I've seen in a long time. ^_^

Oh my goodness Kai, you've REALLY outdone yourself on this one.. this is just beyond incredible.. I love the way you showed off their personalities through their expressions, and the colours look like something straight out of a comic book..
And that BACKGROUND! God the background.. so detailed, it's just incredible. I love your use of lighting in this aswell. These are definitely two of my favourite fancharacters, and you've made them look so official here.. Gosh you're so amazing haha.. this is just.. wow. She's gonna FLIP!

This is really well done though I must say hun, all those details the shading the poses. A lot of hardwork has gone in and you can see this!Its just a lovely, brillent piece and..I love the expression for them arguing XD

I love everything about this; the smooth, fluid, yet not-distracting lineart on the characters, the well-excuted expressions and the body language, the overall colours used, and the shading, that background...
This is simply some of the best work you've done to date, and it excites me to think how much more you're going to improve! <3 Sky's the limit; break it, and once you hit space, keep going! >:0 <3

Mine starts freaking whenever I hit over 100.
Still, I think this is one of your best pieces to date. Love the backgrounds textures and the expressions on the characters. The atmosphere is really lovely <3
