that if you're going to continue to TRACE IMAGES and abuse the smudge tool for your backgrounds, try something NEW. don't just STEAL shit, put some effort into making it your own, even a little bit. there are some very lovely vectors of anime art out there, and guess what-- they're not just copying! imagine that.
if you really want to improve your art, there's nothing wrong with printing a picture off the internet and IMITATING THE STYLE. NOT TRACING.
regardless, GET OFF THE EGO TRAIN. and shunning an older sibling you have because you can trace shit better than they can draw freehand is just unethically repulsive.
