Now something completely different!Loki is pretty much my favourite mythological character, and even though I know nothing about the Marvel comics, Tom Hiddleston was such a great Loki! In my head Loki has red hair though, mostly because in the first book where I read about him, he was illustrated with a beautiful, long, red hair XD
I also believe that my preference for all kinds of trickster characters stems from him. There's always a soft spot in my heart for conmen/gamblers/turncoats/jesters/etc = characters with ambiguous morals. Sadly, these kind of characters always get in trouble (and usually die) and thus cause me a lot of heartburn, haha.
ooops yeah I'm passionate about fictional characters, moving on...
That background legitimately took more time than the actual painting, haha

OHHH MY GOOOD Your painting style is stupendous! I mean...oh man...you made Loki just look so somber and beautiful, I just can't even believe it. You're also one of like two artists on the nets that actually gives Loki his in-movie blue eyes--most people do green XD Anyway, the colours, the lighting, the background (you can tell you worked on it!) and the general sort of...heavy atmosphere of the picture, you did them all beyond my own ability to imagine such a thing being done. My envy is forever! And you are incredible.

Loki is known to have red hair in mythology, I haven't seen Thor yet, but I think the Marvel Loki looks pretty good, tho... he looks quite depressing, like a kicked puppy. Doesn't seem like a trickster to me, he looks like he could take his daughter's job xD
