said for me to post this~ I'll do something to make it.. well, better, when I finally have a computer that will let me run photoshop (and more than one program at one time). That day is coming closer and closer.

October 4th is National Cinnamon Bun Day in Sweden (Kanelbullens dag: [link] ). Cinnamon buns are most definitely my favorite sweet/dessert on God's planet, so I couldn't help but join in the festivities. In Sweden you can find kanelbullar just about in any cafe, grocery store, or Seven Eleven that you come across -- And they are well worth picking up. They aren't terribly sweet or overly filled, and the pearl sugar gives them a crunch for a nice contrast from the softer bread.

Mine are a bit smaller than what you'd normally get, and I think the next time I make them I'll go with a different recipe. I mostly did this one because it matched all the ingredients I had on hand in my apartment. The recipe I used was from a book called "Swedish Cooking" by NGV, though I highly recommend the recipe from Recepten.se ([link] ) or browsing through the recipes on Kokaihop.se. These are going with me to work today so that way I don't make myself sick from eating them all by myself.

And yeah, the flag is made from one of my business cards taped to a piece of spaghetti. The more you know. XD
