I think you captured his personality...he looks stubborn, a bit sad and certainly tired (all which make sense for a mech centuries old IMO) - and I think he would take the comparison to a bulldog as a compliment! Great job!!

it's funny, but when I first saw the movie in the theater, I thought that Ironhide's face vaguely resembled a cat face (I dunno how) and that Ratchet looked like...a dog XD
