this made my evening. It's such a classical look to it, very Caravaggio or Velazquez! Romantic and erotic while still staying classy...
and very respectful to the book!
GREAT JOB and a well deserved fave!

What the fuck?! How did I miss this? This is just an amazing piece of art, your colors are just so smooth and perfect. I never know what to really say when a picture awes me, I fall into a state of speechlessness. But their thighs, their embrace, and the sweeping landscape behind them is just beautiful.
GOd the textures in the pines and your warm yellow highlights. ARGH you inspire me so hard!!!!

I think this is one of my favorites of yours. There's something about the softness and the way the characters are entwined and the overall pallet that really touches me.

Your art is INCREDIBLE. I think what I love most about this picture is the really classic Old-Mastery landscape and lighting.

Nice job.

Firstly, how did you make this? What medium did you use?
Also, I'm just stunned. Just entirely amazed. And that's an understatement. The painting-style texture and softness, the uniqueness, deviating from the usual wing type used, and just...
ugh. I'm sorry, it's just so wow. I don't know what I can say to tell you how WOW oAo

This is just so amazingly beautiful. Looking at it, it stuns me.
It looks like it's from an incredably old art movement by the dream like quality of the entire image. I really am gobsmacked by this.
I appriciate it more as the art is it, than the fanart you've done it for.
Truly a masterpiece.

This reminds me of the book The Amber Spyglass. There are two "angels" that are in love, in human terms. When one dies, the other immediately feels it. They were sad and lovely, and my favorite characters. This is a very nice piece. (:
And yes, I do know that these characters are from a different book.. haha.

Omg, I was just thinking that. I know this picture was inspired by a different book, but I totally thought of Balthamos and Baruch when I first saw it.
