Sweet! And yes, cute, sweet-looking girls that want to kill everyone are just the best. x3
And the kanji you wrote are Japanese, they read "higashi" æ± (East),ă"ao" é (Blue), and "tsuyu"ăéČ (dew). I had to look up that last one, lol, I haven't learned it yet. XD XD XD

Kaleta In reply to Nyaasu [2009-05-26 20:25:43 +0000 UTC]
MWAHAHA! crazy cute killer ftw xD
xD Damn, well then, do you happen to know what the kanji for kaleta or kal or even the letter k is?
đ: 0 â©: 1
Nyaasu In reply to Kaleta [2009-05-26 21:02:09 +0000 UTC]
Well, the only way to get Kanji for your name is through simplified Chinese symbols, which I don't know. D: But! That name can be written in Japanese Katakana! But first I would have to know how you pronounce it. x3
If it is pronounced "Kah-lee-tah", that would be ă«ăȘăż. But if you pronounce it differently, you'd have to tell me. x3
Japanese has a simple alphabet for writing foreign words like "Kaleta", "Baseball", and "Cloud". xD But each symbol doesn't stand for one letter, they stand for a syllable. For example, ă« is "ka", ăȘ is "ri" (there is no "L" sound, so "R" is used instead), and ăż is "ta". x3
...x3 I am a bad teacher.

Kaleta In reply to Nyaasu [2009-05-26 21:20:06 +0000 UTC]
Well its pronounced like how its spelt D: But i guess if i was being picky it would be "Kah-Le-Tah"
Oh i see! damn. You are actually a good teacher lol thank you for pointing it out and trying to teach me <3
đ: 0 â©: 1
Nyaasu In reply to Kaleta [2009-05-26 21:33:06 +0000 UTC]
That's different then! That would be "ă«ăŹăż", "Kareta". xD
My dad goes to China all the time for business, and he was telling me about how they turned his name "Michael" into Chinese symbols (Kanji), but I don't know even the tiniest bit of Chinese. x3 But Kanji do look cooler than Katakana (in my opinion) xD

Kaleta In reply to Nyaasu [2009-05-26 22:04:15 +0000 UTC]
Oh gosh lol kareta reminds me of karate haha!
Maybe i'll just try to write "Ka" then.
Do you happen to know what it would be if i was to write "Yuuki" or "Kazuya"?
haha yeah <33
đ: 0 â©: 1
Nyaasu In reply to Kaleta [2009-05-26 22:22:54 +0000 UTC]
Well, you could go with just "Kal", which would be "Karu", ă«ă« x3
Yuuki can have a Kanji, because it means "courage". And that Kanji is ćæ°, but since it is a Japanese word, it can also be written in their simple alphabet for Japanese words, Hiragana (ăăă.
Kazuya would probably have name Kanji for it, since its a real name, but unfortunately, I don't know many name Kanji! x3 So in Hiragana, it is ăăă.

Windows has programs that let you type in all kinds of languages. There are tutorials online for how to install what's called a "language bar", which lets you change which language comes out as you type. So if I type "Pikachu" right now, it comes out like that, but if I switch it to Katakana...ăă«ăă„ăŠïŒ
x3 It's pretty awesome, but it's a little annoying to keep changing the language. TOTALLY comes in handy though when I'm trying to translate things, though. I don't know how to live without it! x3

Kaleta In reply to Nyaasu [2009-05-27 11:52:24 +0000 UTC]
OMG! how cool! well do you happen to have a link to these language bars? Kal hates downloading without knowing its safe xD
-weird like that-
Oh thats right! hehe <3 translating n.n
Okay, one last question, do you happen to know how to write "Valerie" in japanese?
đ: 0 â©: 1
Nyaasu In reply to Kaleta [2009-05-27 13:10:39 +0000 UTC]
Well, it should be on your Windows disc -- which Windows do you have?
The way I usually install it is to go to your "Control Panel", then "Regional and Language Options". Go to "Languages" (the second tab), then click "Details". There is a button on the right side that says "Add". Click that, and then in the drop-down menu under "input language", choose Japanese. If your windows is XP or lower, you'll have to put in your Windows disc to install it. If it's Vista, I'm pretty sure it's already installed. Now, when you save those settings and exit, a new nifty little bar should appear on your bottom toolbar (or it might appear at the top). It will say "EN English (United States)" or just "EN" if it's at the bottom. If it's at the bottom, right click it and choose "restore language bar". Once it's at the top, open something like Word or Wordpad. Then click the language bar and choose "Japanese". After that, go to "Input Mode", and chose whichever mode you want to type in - mainly you'll want to use Hiragana, Katakana, and Direct Input (this is an easy way to just type in English again).
In order to use the typing program correctly, you only have to have basic knowledge of how Japanese words are spelled with English letters, which is very easy. And remember, Katakana is used for foriegn words (fictional names like "Cloud" [which would be typed "kuraudo"], or borrowed words like "Baseball" [which would be typed be-subo-ru) and Hiragana is used for Japanese names or words (like "neko" [cat] or "inu" [dog]). Also, you have two options when writing in Hiragana - you can hit "enter" after you type the word, and it comes out in plain Hiragana (ăă. Or, you can hit the spacebar and it will convert the Hiragana into the most common Kanji (ç«. If that Kanji isn't the one you were trying to type, you can hit the down arrow while the kanji is highlighted, and a drop-down menu will appear, and you can choose from a lot of Kanji options for that word.
Uhhhmm...that might be too much information for now. xD I guess you only really need to install it, and then you can find out the other stuff as you go. x3 If you have any trouble, let me know, I am good at giving a lot of information, but I'm not good at giving information that is easily understood. x3

Oh i see! thank you very much for telling me! gosh i feel so bad you had to type all that out D:

Nyaasu In reply to Kaleta [2009-05-27 14:58:32 +0000 UTC]
OH, no, I just forgot. LOL. That would be..."barerii", ăăŹăȘăŒ
There is no "v" in Japanese, either, so a "b" would be used instead. x3
