This is excellent! One of my favoitie themes along with spaceart. I love the decrative sails and flags. I'm really always taken in by the shape of a ship and its perspective; great job there. Wonderful work!

Must admit, I like this style even better than your usual. It has fewer colours, which is more subtle. And you've created such a stunning sky, with only different shades of the same colour.

Just wanted to say that all the decor on the boat and the sails, especially the face, is strangely captivating. Designs denote a rich, unknown culture, which is always enchanting....and sailing is always nice!

The warm, golden tones that you have used in this piece give it a solidity, a grounding in reality, but at the same time, it evokes a feeling of unreality, as if it one were looking upon a dream, as prone to disappearing as the golden dust on the crests of waves at sunset.
The designs on the sails are incredible. Where did you base these images on, if I may ask?

I love the assortment of gorgeous amber-golden colors you've chosen, the textures on the waves and hull of the boat, the lovely sails, the mountains, the clouds, the sky~~ EVERYTHING!! Everything is so fabulously rendered, with such superb colors, and the glow from what I guess is a setting sun just contributes to the ASTOUNDING overall effect!! Acht, I'm completely, completely in awe of your skills with oil paints... I have no choice but to fave this. *_*

Now that is a well-designed ship. You seem to have great talent for detail, I've never seen a ainting or drawing of a ship quite as unique as this one here. It looks like it sailed right out of a legend, and the way you used yellow as a major paying colour in this adds to that, because it gives it a feeling of age. Beautiful!
