i sit in the darkness, hands shaking, veiled in blood, an echo of an echo of some long lost child, dead as the distant stars. wings flutter at my back,

our wings.

i've nothing to fear, yet i worry so,
my dark desires whispered to me, verses of shadowed poetry, needles and thread to bind my heart.

who do i pray to now?

A dress design for Evelyn Anna Baine. She has been born in a number of worlds, sometimes with wings. Probably one of favorite people, she has a whole life all her own, which she occasionally shares with me for storytelling purposes.

Painted a long while back. And Miss Evelyn was quite pleased. She does love her fancy dresses.
