Description
Another (and in my biased opinion the best) of my series of broken glass and very brave models.Comments appreciated.
NOTE: For those who wrote about the 'fakeness' and what not after it was featured:
Though I did smooth the skin using filters in Photoshop and her breasts are surgically altered, everything else is natural. That really IS glass, and really is all over her. She really is laying there upon the tile and that's about it.

Just thought about that, if you had glued some of the glass to her breasts, it would have looked like a swimsuit. No critique on your piece (which is gorgeous by the way), just sharing my impression

I'd kinda like to see it before the skin was smoothed with the filters-- the blurred, milky-look to the filtered skin distracts from the beauty of the actual shot for me.

Surgically altered breasts and airburshed-smooth skin in an unnatural pose is not wha I would call 'good anatomy reference.

I think the editing done on this image is very overdone. A paint-over should be a paint-over and photography should be photography. This image is a bit too "cyborg" for my taste, but a great concept none the less.

The glasses belong (past tense) to a car, right?
I use that kind of glass too on my art. Wow, this is beautifull.

Mm.. the photo looks beautiful, and the shattered glass detail is, to my opinion the best addition. And actually dangeruous for her because of the place the glass is placed. The colors are nice, and you have a great contast between the overall image and the outstanding blue of the glass. I like this photo actually.
What I'd like to note is the clearly photoshoped skin, okay you said in your description that you indeed edited the model.. but for example, the color of her skin on her arms, lower legs and abdomen don't match. thus giving her a bit of an artificial look... May I guess it was her chest and abdomen what you edited?

You probably had the model lay down first then carefully sprinkled the glass on her to help prevent cuts or nicks but still picking stray bits of glass out of there... I hope she was trimmed short.

I like your editing XD i don't really find broken glass to be as dangerous as "most" people feel, it give the piece a more beautiful feeling because of the contrast: a full intact smooth beautiful woman along with crude shiny broken pieces of glass :F

Really cool. The angle sorta messes with the head as it makes it seem almost like everything is defying gravity. Nice work! And she's simply lovely!

I don't know if it's because of her large breasts but it looks like she's sticking her chest out, like she's straining a little (although i'm sure I wouldn't be so relaxed myself), but when I read the title "Shattered" and knew it was related to glass, I thought it would be a nice twist as in shattered glass and shattered as in tired..that probably wasn't what you were going for, but I think if she didn't look so tense this would definitely be an amazing shot in my eyes!
But nonetheless, well done for a great shot as it is, I deal with broken glass a lot as a barmaid and understand how fearful this shot must have been for her!

I feel like the point of the picture was taken away by the alteration of the model. 'Beauty and danger,' right? But instead it's like you would rather us pay strict attention to the model's enhanced beauty.

brave model indeed and nice idea. too bad the blur effect is so strong. i'm sure her skin is beautiful. neither she nor your photo needs that much photoshop.
