Oh KidLiz, how I adore you! I've been shipping KidLiz as a noncanon pairing since the very beginning (I didn't think there'd be another romance in the main cast aside from SoulMaka), but then there were romantic undertones added to Black*Star and Tsubaki's relationship, and now Liz is angsting over Kid so much that I wonder if there will be more to come! Seriously, the scene in which Liz desperately pleads for Noah to give Kid back was one of the most emotional scenes in the entire manga. T.T Maybe Ookubo is starting to put emphasis on Patti as an awesome fighter and Liz as Kid's romantic interest.

Anyway, I had commissioned to draw KidLiz because there is a severe lack of fanart for this awesome pairing (and because her art is awesome). I really hope I did her work justice here.

The pair is so underrated. The age difference is a bit large at this point, but it shouldn't be a problem in just a couple years. Dammit Kid, she's symmetrical.

Her art is awesome. Don't you wish she shipped NaruSaku?

It definitely is underrated, but KidLiz just got a bit of canon help from the most recent Soul Eater chapter. And I don't think the age difference of 2-3 years is a problem, since my parents have a larger age gap and are happily married (and BlackStarxTsubaki have the exact same age difference, and it doesn't hurt that pairing either).

Brilliant picture with such awesome colouring!

I've always had a soft spot for KidLiz but I thought I was one of the only ones considering most people ship KidChrona which I honestly do not understand!

When it comes to pairings my OTP is Black*Star/Tsubaki then Kid/Liz then Soul/Maka

I adore KidLiz, and I definitely plan on making more KidLiz fanart. Y'know, I used to think that there was no one else (other than my sister) who liked KidLiz, and that everyone for some reason like KidCrona (also expect an anti-KidCrona comic from me sometime). However, there happens to be a good amount of KidLiz fans; they just haven't done much fanart/fanfiction yet. Of course, I plan to kick-start the KidLiz fandom with some fanart and maybe a KidLiz contest.

Yes, KIDLIZ! It's my Soul Eater OTP (even beating out SoulMaka ).

Surprisingly, I've discovered lately that there are a good number of fans for KidLiz. They just haven't posted up fanart/fanfiction or been vocal about it. Just wait; I plan to help bolster the KidLiz fandom to the best of my efforts.

(my "otp" is kid/maka, but i'm on board with every kid ship in that manga except kid/crona, which i will never ever understand.)

Despite all that, I would love to help you turn our little fandom into a bigger one in any way that I can.
It'll give me a valid excuse to draw fanart again, and you've inspired me to go on a fanfic search. (even though most of the fics are patty/kid/liz, which i dnw)

I like KidMaka too; it's my second favorite Kid pairing. I plan on drawing at least one KidMaka for my gallery as well. KidCrona. . . expect an anti-KidCrona crack comic in the near future. I can't stand that pairing either, because it makes no sense. They've barely spoken to each other (on friendly terms), and they would just depress each other into suicide if they did spend more time together. MakaCrona is a much more sensible pairing for Crona.

I'm thinking so too. As I said, I've been shipping this piece of awesome since the beginning, but I'm thrilled to see it possibly become canon.

If it doesn't become canon, I'll at least try my hand at growing the KidLiz fandom. A certain nonsensical Kid pairing has become popular for reasons completely beyond my understanding, but I hope fans will soon realize how much better KidLiz is.

Yes, that is exactly the pairing I was referring to.

Angst? But there's no angst in KidCrona either, because there is no interaction, no development, no anything for KidCrona. Their "angst" is entirely orchestrated by what fans think will happen if they even spoke to each other. On the other hand, Liz is angsting SO hard for Kid right now, they might as well start shipping KidLiz now, if angst is what they aim for.

Crona is more popular than Liz, so that's probably why KidCrona is popular. I like Crona, but pairing her/him/it? with Kid makes no sense to me, even as a crack pairing. They are both such mental messes that they would depress each other into suicide.

Crona is funny, but she/he whatever is a bit confusing, and I find it hard to get into the character.

I'm also not too fond of Kid/Liz/Patty.

It's weird and creepy.

Sadly, most of the KidLiz fanfics are actually KidLizPatti. I don't mind KidPatti (I do have a hard time picturing Patti being romantically interested in anyone right now), but I can't see how KidLizPatti could work out, especially in the long run. As someone with a close bond with her sister (we're identical twins), I can't imagine having to share a man with my sister. Therefore, I don't think Liz and Patti would be able to do it, either.

Thanks! I enjoy coloring other people's linearts, especially since I spend the longest time on my linearts, so I don't have to worry about the hardest part for me.

That's one of the textures I've been itching to use for a while now. Seriously, has some of the best stock images.
