Sorry for the long wait on this page.
I got so caught up in other art projects, namely the Deidara fanservice (so I'm sure you don't mind too much 
).The jutsu is "Earth element: Stone Wall Technique." However, my Japanese vocabulary is quite small, so if anybody knows a better term, please do let me know, and I'll switch it immediately.
Oh, and the second panel is made of mega fail.

Lol, I think pages that end on cliffhangers are great. Most mangas, even shoujos, employ that in their chapters, with several cliffhanger pages in each chapter. It's good to keep someone reading.

There are some details missing in the third panel, such as swirls of dust and perhaps the βearthquakeβ-movements of the ground.

Heh heh, yeah, I got so frustrated with the hands on this one. That's definitely something I need to work on.
The other day, ~mosaicked and I were talking about how Kishimoto needs to make tutorials on drawing hands. XD If only . . .

Practice makes perfect, I used to draw the weirdest hands, they looked like they could impale you, toes too :d I'm better now, but they could still use a little work.
I wish Kishi would do background tutorials, he does the most awesome backgrounds sometimes. For me, when it comes to backgrounds, I have the imagination of a duck.

Great update...can't wait to see what happens next!! Seriously, I'm totally hooked on this doujinshi even if it's barely in to two chapters. X3 I'm definitely drawing more fanart of it as time goes by and the story evolves!
And I didn't mind the Deidara fanservice...he needs to be naked (or half naked) more often!!!

I do! OwO It's the most fun and original doujinshi about Deidara I have ever read! Don't get me wrong, other ones I've read were well done and had a good story, but they were all SasoDei or DeiTobi or whatever. It's nice to see one where it doesn't focus on a pairing.
