Usually when I watch Smallville I get this really strong urge to draw Superman but that wasn't the case this time. This time my Duty Operations Manager (that's my mananger's manager) asked me to draw a picture of ol' Supes for her son who's a big fan. Now just because she's my boss doesn't mean she's getting off lightly with payment wise, she'll still get charged the same as everyone else...well that's the plan anyway.
I asked her what background she wanted and she picked Metropolis. Now I've coloured it and it is ready to be sold.
The design of the costume is derived from the movie version I editted to so that's where the belt design comes from. Enjoy.
