Description
This is Sephiroth, the Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children version. (Although I don't really think there's much design change between the game and the movie.) I originally intended to make a plushie to put on ebay, sort of to test the waters for my plushies, that was why I chose to do Sephiroth (since he's so loved by all
) But in the process I've decided I love him too much to let him go, so he's staying with me now. XD I enjoyed making all the hardware immensely, especially the armor, the buckles and the wing. It's hard to tell from the picture but the wing have multi-tiers of feathers. (just couldn't seem to get my camera to cooperate -_- )Size: 9.5" tall

What material did you use for the hair and skin? i can never find the right stuff and most tutorials aren't very helpful -.-'

For the skin I use ultrasuede. They are pretty pricey, but you can get them in 8.5x11 rectangles that should be enough for a plushie. I've also heard people like to use suedecloth or even microsuede for the skin. For hair I like to use minkie fur. These you should be able to to find at any fabric store, like Joanns. Ultrasuede might be a little tricky. You may need to go to specialty fabric stores, or online. Hope this helps!

Oh wow, he looks great! And so detailed! The silver looks especially nice-- is it a pleather or clay or something else? o.O? It's too bad it's hard to see the wing-- the silhouette is still very pretty ^_^

Thanks! The picture does look blue doesn't it? It's actually greenish turquoise-ish colored. All mako-ed up and everything.

For the bangs, I actually stitched it in front and the fabric is kind of holding itself up. I can totally smoosh it down though.

Thank you for your comment! ^_^ I usually spend anywhere from 1-2 months per plush. But that's because I'm usually really busy with other things and don't have much time to make plushies. I really don't know how much actual time I spent on one though.

He's gorgeous. I do love the armour, they're very detailed & I'm glad that you've still kept them as "fabric" because it would be so soft. The wing look awesome, very full. Beautiful!
