First, Francis with the towel is adorable!

For what it's worth, I think the text works. This version of Charles (bless him) tends to babble on when he gets started on science so the fact that the words are clear and he's going somewhere with what he is saying rather than his usual way of talking when he get sciencey shows he's putting all that knowledge of his into context for Francis.
