I don't like his personality. While for what he did, I never really get it myself. But he shows that clown video to Gamzee and it makes him rampage.

do u remember davesprite? yeah davesprite basically cursed himself to a shitton of emotional torture AND doomed the rose he knew to save the alpha timeline (terezi was going to trick john into confronting his denizen, where he would die, and in doing so cause the death of Jade, which was eventually going to trigger Dave and Rose's deaths; in Davesprite's original timeline, Rose was fully grimdark with no going back, and he went back in time to prevent all of that from happening and prototyped himself so that Dave wouldn't have to use Calsprite. This trapped him in the alpha timeline, where he really had no place, knowing that he was from a doomed timeline and was going to die eventually. now we don't know where he is ;_

No, I get it. And now I quite like Dave because it tells me the detail of true him. He was passive, soooo passive I can't imagine it. But he also really care for his friend and he always try to dodge death to save his friends. THAT what you suppose to tell me.
