When they're young, groups of them follow deer... herds? Graze with them, and use them for protection.And then they age, actually mature into opportunistic carnivores, and sometimes eat the deer. 8I
They also lure other predators in by acting like injured deer and then eat them too.
Only if other food is scarce though.

Ya got the summer coat, the winter coat, and the baby... version. Plus a head.
Their throats puff out and change colour when they fight.
