When you do something like this, it’s hard to tell if you’ve succeeded in your vision of it.

ooooh, I’m glad your articulated that for me!
(I’ve got no art education, so I did have to ask my husband (who does have an art degree about the fauvists) Of course I think Matisse is splendid.
