On a rainy afternoon at the Barrow Scrapyard, Kris arrives after dropping off scrap in need of cutting up. She looks across and hears a weak but desperate plea for help. She breaks in tears as it turns out to me for I've been shunted into shed where I'm on the list of being cut up thanks to British Railways. I tell her that I've been in the scrapyard for a long time and could be ready to met my end at any time. Determined to not let it happen, Kris promised to save me and bring me somewhere safe.
