This is both awesome and kindles a creative spark in my own mind.Β The contrast and balance of light and shadow is amazing, not to mention that the phoenix wings look absolutely stunning.Β Fantastic job

Okay, if a poster version of this won't sell well when you have a table at an art convention, I don't know what will.
The rising phoenix definitely turned out the most eye-catching with this fiery contrast and all these single feathers. And I believe this is the first time I see an anthro phoenix become the feral phoenix, and it looks very nice.
I'm a sucker for contrast things of all kinds in general, that's why I also love how there's this dark-grey-blue environment of ice, snow and night around this bright, hot, fire bird. The way you painted the wings really makes you feel as if there's some sort of heat wave hitting you like an explosion. It's no wonder it instantly makes the ice lake crack under his feet.

Was really fun painting the fire part of the phoenix, and trying to figure out how to make the fire and feathers work together.Β
Ah that's good, I really wanted to show off the extremeΒ fiery heat coming off the phoenix, it is sortof like an explosion in process I guess!
