Felt that the last post was a bit small for the day, so here's some fanart!For those who don't know, this is Demona w/ the phoenix gate from Gargoyles. She's definitely gotta be one of my favorite animated villains.

Short hair. Like it.
All in all she appears quite a bit younger than in the series.

Other than her hair missing, this is an awesome rendition of Demona. I love the mace and the expression on her face as she's contemplating the phoenix gate. The colors and shading are almost perfect. Nicely done~!

One thing that I've noticed is that almost every female gargoyle has long hair. I can't actually name one that didn't, outside of the comic series. You made it look good ^^.

But now that you mention it, I really can't think of any short haired female gargoyles! I thought the one from Avalon was, but after research, her hair was just behind her triceratops shaped head xD

Ophelia? Yeah, this is true, she had the strangest head of any of them. On the bright side, she proved 'non-traditional does not = ugly'.

I agree, that was such a great episode! I loved seeing Demona's innocence and how she fought against what she would become. (sadly didn't change anything D: )
Personally I really liked her story arc with Macbeth and her realization/confession that she caused all her sorrow when she was controlled by the weird sisters.

Hehehe. I totally need to rewatch that episode. I'm getting that Gargoyles urge. Avalon was okay (I just liked the fact they got to see new Gargoyles, the mythological creatures, and who doesn't love Bronx getting a major part for once?) albeit I loved many of the parts featuring Demona more.

I liked how they tied together all the myths/legends. I really only felt the series decline when they were trying to go public and had to battle the quarrymen. It was all kinda meh to me~

I was shocked at first to think it was Lexington who did it. I was like Broadway nu. ; _; It was also pretty sad seeing Demona go in that episode too.

Whenever I rewatch the series I just forget that there was ever a season three. Since apparently season 3 wasn't made by the creator of Gargoyles, but rather Disney kicked him out and took over everything on the third one.

Looking back on it now, Gargoyles was very dark and depressing for kids. xD Though I suppose that's what makes it so good.
