So,

I think I created this account about 2 years or so ago, and here I am posting my first deviation!

As a bit of explanation I've been drawing for many years but only on pencil and paper and haven't really been able to make the transition over to any means of digital drawing. I used several traditional tablets on the PC but never really... got the hang of it. Recently though I purchased a Surface Pro and had decided to give it a go since I could draw directly on screen and it felt more akin to drawing on paper!

Bad news was, Photoshop isn't pressure sensitive... how can they even get away with that?!

So after almost a decade of Photoshop use I had to switch to sketchbook pro (for now) and its' taken a bit of getting used to. This was my first legitimate attempt at a drawing and it wasn't that great since I couldn't figure out for the life of me how to get Sketchbook to draw lines the way I wanted to so I just went nuts with he pencil tool until it vaguely resembled an anime character!

Anyhoo, I'll be posting a few more that I've done and more as I continue improving with this here sketchbook and surface pro!
