Description Well, I'll be fair about this: I'm pretty much artblocked.

In about three months, this is the closest I've come to drawing anything.

Made aboard a train, without references, during a very long journey.

It hurts deeply in my soul - I just wish I could get a decent drawing out.

Start with the basics. Brush up on poses and anatomy. Browse through a bunch of related images on google. These are just some ideas.

A good drawing never came to me, what I have done I had to do a lot of research and then bash it out of my brain and on to my paper. If it is going to be painful you don't need to worry about my picture buddy.

And there are so many things you could make drawingds of! Anyway, this train looks great, especially when made on a train and you had no referencve!

Pretty good!  Drawing on vehicles always seems to make things jumpy, you did a smooth job.

I feel your pain, I've only made one drawing during the summer holiday, and the one i'm making now needs constant fixing as my drawing skills got rusty

But this looks nice, reminds me that I should draw trains more often (and finally get to designing Mercasyan trains)

Maybe you could also look at some of the abandoned designs for "Trains of the Future", such as the American Aerotrain... or the French Aérotrain.

kerosen.free.fr/vd/aerotrain/1… (French Aérotrain)

There's also a 'lost series' of seven steam engines designed for the Belgian Railways but never built (Series 101-107), I believe the new TrainWorld museum has the models of a number of them (they were on display in the old railway museum of Brussel-Noord)

I know how this feels.Sometimes a small trip always helps you get ideas. Also get something to note them, as you might forget them.

Look at other people's lousy art.  NOTHING dynamites a block like seeing it done BADLY.

you'll get through it my friend maybe try working with new media? or revisit old ideas? or just focus on something other than drawing for a few weeks and than come back to drawing fresh with new ideas and inspiration
