Dorinne-Durnal Station (Belgium), August 12th 2018As Service 5433 (headed by Series 62 diesel 6305) waits to depart the Dorinne-Durnal station in the direction of Purnode and Bauche, Nohab 5205 arrives back from Bauche, having extinguished the embankment fires accidentally set by the steamer General Maczek.
5205, a former NMBS/SNCB Type 52 Nohab, modified with 'floating cabs', served as a firefighting train for the duration of the gala, as the embankments were dry as tinder because of the recent set of heatwaves.

I heard from a British enthousiast who was present there (there's always a British contingent at the gala, especially bashers who hope to pick one of the rarer runners there: the galas are the only chance to pick the type 55s and 62s as they no longer run passenger trains; and this year there was an even rarer chance to pick an NS6400 and a Shed...)
