Quite a nostalgic shot indeed (even though these locomotives were never used for passenger services, back when they were in service...)

Nice of both the train and the old station behind it.  How long is the line?

The museum line is actually quite considerable, it's 12.4 km long, running from Mariembourg to Treignes.  It once was part of line 132, which went from Charleroi-Sud in Belgium to Virieux-Molhain in France, and was built between 1848 and 1854.  Treignes was the border station on the Belgian side of the border, with a considerable freight court like any border station in Belgium - however, the cross-border passenger services stopped on December 10th 1962, passenger services to Treignes from Mariembourg ended on September 29th 1963, and the cross-border freight services stopped on November 1st 1971, after which the line between Treignes and Virieux was broken up in 1975.

But things didn't remain quiet at Treignes for long.  In 1973, a couple of train enthousiasts founded the CFV3V, and in the summer season of 1976, they ran their first services on the abandoned line.

We in Latvia have got something similar: www.kasjauns.lv/lv/zinas/16044… - the only active narrow-gauge railway line, connecting the two cities of Alūksne and Gulbene.

This isn't a narrow-gauge line, though - it's a preserved railway line used for heritage services.  When in Belgian railway service, the locomotive in front of this train (an HLR 73) was never used for passenger services, it was solely used for yard duties and occasionally for light freight services.
