This is a beautiful piece. Sometimes, the heart needs more exercise, to prepare for the burdens we make it hold, and carry.
My favorite detail is that you are truly naked, besides the black cloth, that covers you like a shadow. I love that you are not wearing jewelry, your nails are clean--so much loss. Yeah, the pierced lobe is visible, a place that was adorned with jewelry. With material, things that are not necessary for living, but is necessary for our personal characterization.
I love it.

Again the concept isn't hugely clear to me, again i'm blaming myself for this, again, really well shot and everything is arranged to look very pleasing to the eye - good work!

i generally take a similar stance myself on my own images, so very much understood! i guess it's a bit rude to ask you to give an idea of your intentions so no matter, but i think i stand by what i said in that i don't, or can't glean enough from the elements inside these images to form a concept in my head, even though naturally there's plenty to be drawn from here
in the first image (sorry for talking about it here but what the hell) i've started to figure what i might take from the image but i'm not sure what the plant is, i take that the plant has a scent, but the black cover allows only the scent, like the woman knows of the existance of the plant's nature, but dos not know exactly what it is - the fact she is nude could suggest both vunerability or power, so hey, although based on the second image, vunerability seems more likely
looking at dictionary.com - praxis means 'ractice' or 'custom', this word could be used to denote different things in each image - given the downbeat nature of the images i guess you mean something somewhat negative, which is interesting - 'customs of the heart', that love or feeling or caring should be something of suffering? in the first image a concept of not knowing how such a thing should manifest itself or feel, and in the second, something of sadness? (a before and after?)
the choice in plant was interesting, and quite cool, i think something brighteror more 'flowery' could be a bit cheesy, the plant seems rather arid in nature
as a side-note, i find even with my own images that my own concept is actually quite fuzzy, and can branch out in many directions as i think about it, and i think i'm getting a similar feeling with these images, but i'm enjoying the feeling and maybe my little kick out of concepts is the thought salad, rather than anything particularly solid
longest comment in weeks, and darned fun too, cheers for making me think! and sorry if i bored you!

that's very interesting, i'm not well equipped to understand these parts of love because although i have observed them, i've never really felt them (pain, betrayal etc) - i can understand those impulses though however and i think, particularly in the first image, that they are portrayed well
her upwards look, the flower, nudity and black hood work well to communicate a feeling of urgency and desire about love (as i said, the promise of the flower unseen but sensed) but it's very well done in that it seems so blind and doomed, there is a lot happening in the image in these ways, it's actually making a lot of sense to me now, when as i first looked at it it seemed impenetrable
the second image is much more simple, and i think weaker, even though it seems more elemental and more bold (if purely cause there is less going on), but seems to as you suggest the pain and betrayal - what i did really like in this image is how her left hand holds her right arm's forearm, it seems like a 'strong' pose yet for me it's like she even has to support her arm that is supporting her head, a real sense of being lost to it all
thanks for explaining your ideas a bit, they now make a lot of sense to me and i'm finding it much easier to understand the imagery - they really do seem to work as a pair when i thought initially they'd be two shots at a similar concept when to me they really are a before and after idea
i don't know about your history, and they say pain creates great art, but i hope to not exprience many things suggested in these imges, it's a very dark side of love and while i'm certainly not unfamiliar with suffering, suffering on such a level, with your heart so very much in another persons hands, seems unbearable to me
