Description This is the first part of my Hands series tutorials.

I decided to do it because hands are one of the most difficult things to draw for me, so this is a personal challenge for me that I wanna share with you.

HANDS SERIES:


You CAN download it and use these hands as a reference for your art if you need it, I don't mind it at all

***ABOUT THE PICTURE #5: NO, there AREN'T 6 fingers, that's just the SIDE of the hand and it looks that way due to the angle...

These are pretty good.. the one thing I notice is you seem to miss the inward curve of the fingers. It is usually subtle, but it adds more life. If you clench your fist, you will notive your fingers starting to make a sort of v shape in towards each other at the end, rather than all being parallel. Hopefully this helps out anyone looking at these for reference.

Thanks for making this tutorial Hands always give me trouble. I especially like the details you drew in with the knuckles area. And especially the straight on view of the finger, sometimes it's hard to get it exactly right without making it look weird.
