Description i've been getting 1-2 nosebleeds per day for the past week and i'm just getting annoyed at this point

i already have a long-standing reputation at school as "the girl who gets nosebleeds all the time," but this is just excessive

as gross as it feels, shove as much vaseline as you can get up there - the nostrils have some sensitive skin that are extremely susceptible to drying out in the winter/spring so they need extra moisture!!

local girl admitted to hospital with an entire jar of vaseline lodged in her nasal cavity

usually i just get nosebleeds around once a month in the winter, but we were... in the literal desert for 4 days on vacation, so i think that and my cold aggravated my nostrils more than usual hah

oh yeah that's absolutely it!! drying those babies out does a lot of damage - altitude can also be an issue, if u live somewhere mountainous

As a dude who has runny nose problems from time to time, I can imagine how annoying thatd be

Thankfully the nosebleeds I'm getting right now don't last long? Just a few minutes
The rarer ones I have can last up to half an hour so honestly this is better

One of my teachers and my dad apparently had nosebleeds a lot as teenagers so I'm hoping it's something I mostly outgrow, yeah ;v;

My dad wanted to visit the desert while on vacation, and I think the super dry air combined with my cold is doing a real number on my nose hah
