Wow your designs are amazing. Soo a friend of mine and I are working on a comic and I was wondering, if you don't mind, if I could maybe use some of your designs for clothing... espesually the one on the far left. If you won't mind. If you don't want me to I won't.

How did the request for the first one come about? I can never quite phrase what I am looking for. Then I see elements of what I want in the requests and I lament.

I was given a link to the character who would wear it (she wore a top, armored trousers and a cape, so I went with a pretty similar design) and the request that went with it was:
"I'd like it to be something that shows off her body's shape and somewhat revealing so as to show off her scars. However, it should be something she can fight in if she has to, so pants are needed along with sensible shoes or boots. It should be something classy enough for court but not to frilly.
For colors mostly subdued colors like browns and black with hints of gold. Her trade mark is a red scarf so if you could work that in as well that would be great. Only other thing I can think of is she's fond of leathers and furs.
I work with both detailed descriptions and vague ones, but it depends a lot on how inspired I feel at that time because results vary a lot. Some designs just flow out and others are hard as hell despite being pretty simple conceptually.

That's...far more simple than I realized. It's amazing for you to create works like that based on such a simple, vague request. I'm so impressed. I'm gathering references and ideas for my own request. My character equips her outfits, which is why I am constantly looking for new ones. But she does need a new base outfit.

It's very fitting! The black helps it pop. Maybe if it was more a quartz than a neon I'd accept it but that's just me.
