Watercolour on watercolour paper 27 cm x 17 cmThis is not the kind of thing I paint often, but this was a commission, so I had a go. It was a lot more challenging than you would think. I am hoping that the client will be happy with it.

I think you did a good job on that one. And I liked that one better than the second one you did. BTW, I think anything in watercolor is hard!

Thank you, Sue! You're very kind. I think it's always a bit daunting when you are painting for someone else. I was happy when the client liked it. I do hope her daughter liked it - she bought it as a gift for her.

Beautiful! You are a very versatile artist. I love the reflections in the yellow section of the water. That really brings to life the feeling of the light on the lake/river.
