The first thought that sprang to my mind as I caught sight of this melody of colour was Edward Lear's poem "The Owl and the Pussycat". I adore this wonderful work of art. Such a rich vibrancy of colours along with the bold compositions.

Oh, that is interesting, and thanks again for the kind words. Yes, Deviantart has changed in the past 8 years. It isn't what it used to be. Now Facebook and other social media are where it's at. I still love DA, but it's a lot quieter than it used to be. I am also very active on Redbubble, which is a great place for artists to show their work, and have market their art as prints and other products.

Not just the aesthetics but the community too. Or I just grew distant from the site. Not been apart of Facebook for over a year now. Don't regret moving on from that place.

I enjoy writing as well, but mainly just in my daily journal. I think there has been a lot of change in social media and technology over the years. As a result people are busier and busier. At least that's my experience. It has a huge downside as well, as people are constantly distracted by their phones and Facebook, or I have noticed with young people , playing games on their phone. It's kind of sad to see people spending time together, but every one is looking at their phone rather than talking to each other. You are probably better off without Facebook. Anyway, thanks for sharing.
