Description I never tire of painting fantasy fish. There's a lot happening here. I was kind of thinking these fish look rather clueless...there is danger lurking nearby....just having fun, as usual.

Thank you! I'm appreciate your kind compliment.
How did I do this? I started with Arches 300gsm watercolour paper. I did a pencil drawing directly on the paper (original design from my head) Then I proceeded to add the colour with a limited palette of watercolours. Afterwards I reinforced some of the outlines, and added some patterns with ink-liner pens.

Well, they are easy to do - they are less daunting than flowers. My first fish painting I did, I was just playing with shapes. I used templates (french curves) and ruler, etc. Then I just coloured in. It was really enjoyable, and the finished painting was a pleasant surprise. Thanks for sharing!

Yeah the teeth shapes in the upper right make it seems like danger but this painting just makes me smile. Great environment and the colors are so wonderful. Love your fishies!
