.: Of gods and myths - Norse mythology :.Sköll and Hati! They're brothers, and supposedly brothers/sons of Fenrir. Sköll is colored in hot colors and Hati with cold colors (sorry if these aren't the good words :S)
Sköll chases Sol (the sun), trying to catch her and devour her. Hati chases Máni (the moon), trying to catch him and devour him.
At Ragnarök, both will succeed their chase.

Sköll y Hati! Son hermanos, y supuestamente hermanos/hijos de Fenrir (nunca se ha dejado claro). Sköll es el de colores cálidos y Hati el de colores fríos.
Sköll persigue a Sol (el sol), intentando atraparla y devorarla. Hati persigue a Máni (la luna), también intentando atraparle y devorarlo. Durante el Ragnarök, los dos conseguiran sus propósitos.

I thought they chased the chariot drivers of Sol and Mani, not the actual sun and moon themselves...but I could be wrong.

Probably you're right... I love mythology, but I don't really know so much, just what I read, and there's a lot of diferents versions of the myths.

La mitología es genial >,< Me gusta mucho como interpretaban en los tiempos antiguos los fenómenos naturales... en este caso explicaban el porqué el sol y la luna se "mueven" por el cielo.
De la mito egipcia se muy poquito, y la verdad me gustaría saber más T_T Mas que nada se sobre Isis, Osiris y Horus >_<
