I've been going around looking at different artists and asking the same question, did you get this great by going to an art school? Because I'm thinking about going to one and wondering if it's worth the money.

Though I did go to art school, I cant say its the sole purpose to how I got to where I am now. Its more about your own drive. I went to school with many people who had no drive to improve and Ive met people who havent gone to art school yet they are great at it. With all the resources online, art communities, sketchgroups and such, its difficult for me to see a reason to go to art school unless you want a degree.

I started a sketch book a few weeks ago and all these characters you post remind me how weak I've become...thanks jerk lol. the proportions arent that bad the only thing that bugs me is the taller woman's left arm is either too short or you didnt get the foreshortening quite right.

I've been loving all of your character pages, they have a very strong initial impression, and the costumes have been consistenyl varied+unique. Plus you don't seem to have much trouble finding interesting poses to put each character in (I sometimes struggle with this, everyone I draw stands the same way O-o).
Something you don't seem to be doing though is double checking your proportions when throwing down the initial gesture sketch? Like on the this one how the girl on the left has an elongated torso, and I think it was the previous where one of guys had rather small and short arms for his frame. The only real reason these issues are noticeable to my eye is because of how tight and detailed you're delivering the final renderings of these sketches, if they were more gestural then I doubt they would stand out.
I probly shouldn't be pointing this things out as you're my competition in the job field

You are right! It's something I keep forgetting to double check after the first gesture pass. Sometimes I get so caught up in an area of the drawing, I neglect other areas. Appreciate the crits!
