This is supposed to be Bubbles, a pilot whale. I've never done a pilot whale before... well, actually, I drew this same image, but it came out looking like a rock. It's quite difficult to draw/paint something that's so dark. So I hope it actually looks like her.Related content

beautiful! i love Bubbles ^^ i go to the dolphin show, just for the pilot whales really..well the dolphins are cute too..but i just love those pilot whales o_o I wish they had their own viewing spot.

They are beautiful (and I like them much better than the bottlenoses). I really wish there was more of a focus on them, because they are amazing animals and the show just has them jumping around a bit. It would be really nice to be able to see them outside of that. =

One day, maybe they will have some sort of exhibit for them...i know it is something i would..really love to see...

Whenever i go to the show, someone with a large head sits in front of me (and this is true for Any show i see at sea world it seems) o-o i've realized..i have next to no pictures of Shadow or Bubbles
and i do agree that Niner is....kind of an awkward name ><

Thanks! with my first drawing my mom said, "What is it?"
And I replied, "It's a pilot whale."
And she said, "What's that?"
And I said, "Um... a whale?"
She squinted at it and told me, "It looks like a rock. A really good rock, but still a rock."
I looked at it and sighed.
Then I showed her the photo I used as reference. She looked at that and said, "That looks like a rock too. So I guess that means you did a good job?"

I've never heard of bubbles, unfortunately, so I can't help you there.
However I don't think it looks like a rock.. Hehe ..So that's good right?
I love the shape of her head, and the way you did the water.
Especially the reflection of bubbles.
