Actually he may have drowned face down in a puddle *after* he got *out* of the river... that's one version I heard. I must put some Romanov art up, I'm without a scanner out here. In the meantime I will fave this one!

Well, yes, but the entire story of Anastasia is completely made up XD Anastasia was killed along with the rest of her family when them Russians decided to execute the Czar. The only thing special about him was that he knew hypnotism, and I really don't think he had anything to do with Anastasia in particular.. lol.Yeah, that youngness is the half chibi anime side of it.. if you see this floating around school don't be too afraid.. I think it's made its way to each and every member or the sophomore class by now..

He was basically a superbly fucked-up Russian priest who, in the last years of the Romanovs (Russian dynasty), became close aqquaintances with the family, especially the Queen, that German...hjgfjfhj*grumbles*.
Some nobles figured he was causing way too much trouble and corrupting the Czar and his family. They ended up having to feed him a whole cyanide-fueled meal, shot him the heart, shot him a few more times clubbed him senseless, castrated (???) him, and tied him up in a sack and thrown into a freezing river. A couple days later he was found on the shores, having expired from hypothermia, of all things.
Oh yeah, and before all this, he was stabbed by a crazy ex-girlfriend.
He is one of the most kick-ass figures in history. Was chummy with a king, got laid constantly, got drunk and naked, and took forever to die.
