My lord and master is the time
It is indeed, what I call prime
It is the knife that cuts my life
It is, what fuels my inner strife
I am its loyal jar and vase
But something fills me with disgrace
I am leaking the chronicles sand
Desperatly trying to hold it with my hand
All hail the king!
Afraid to lose it through my holes
Without accomplishing my goals
Afraid that death will catch me
And throw me into the souls sea
What really makes time matter
Is the one who can shatter
Our lifes at their meridian
And blast them to oblivion
It is indeed the Grim Reaper
All hail the king!

I love the sense of mystery here, keeping the identity of the king hidden until the very end. My favorite part is the "souls sea" bit, it's very beautiful imagery and really serves as the best bit of foreshadowing for the ending reveal. I think the title itself compliments who it's about perfectly as well.
