Why are we proud of our existence?
We do not show any resistance
To what we dare calling humanity.
That is part of our very own vanity!
A corrupted species brilliant sprout
Is what I am without a doubt.
Moneybags explode in the dark
Ignited by a greedy spark.
Am I their slave?
Can't I be brave?
Am I paying for my grave?
Is profit what I crave?
I will not walk a path of broken bones
Just to get some golden stones!
I will not live the way they want
Just to eat in a fancy restaurant!
So will you follow me?
I promise I will never force thee
To act against your moral code
And still make the system explode!
We won't be slaves!
We will be true braves!
Get out of our graves!
We will ride liberties waves!
I am free!
You are free!
We are free!
This is a warning
This is hope
This is a promise

The whole poem is very good, but the first two lines of the first and second stanza ring the most true to me. Great writing as always, I love to read your poetry.
