*scrunches nose*I find it hard to see the daily droll of working, going home sleeping an hour, and repeating the process lol But thats what iv been up to lately. I got a pretty kewl job at Pearl Paint ( Think canal st in NYC---but smaller).Awesome co-workers.....pittiful paycheck lol
If you look close you can actually see my hair covering my name tag lol

Well, that is good you enjoy your work for bad pay. I have retarded co workers and get a pretty fair check for what I do. It is only $8/hr, but its answering phones and getting alot of heat.

I work in the canal street one...leaving next friday...that place is god awful...im assuming you're either in westbury or seldon...if you're union ends up being Uniter Here....run for your life...I'll miss working with the brushes and paints and some coworkers but i wont miss the retarded logic this chain runs on....good luck to ya though...i went to the westbury one before...seems alot more calm and mellow there.....

Love the lightning and the peaceful atmosphere. Monotony is not necessary a bad thing, It depends in what you consider monotony and the content of the routine. In this world, sometimes, is good to watch it through a rose tinted glass. Just don't forget that those magical visions are not the reality of our lives.

Def alive! Been making our house a House. My sister moved in with all of us and hopfuly when our days off correspond we are def doing a shoot together... but i do see what your talking about. It realy requires a balance. Though i find it a bit exhausting to put forth the effort to look at things brightly some days. I use all of my artificial sweetener at work talking to customers lol

Hahaha... right. I used to work in the IT Department of Marriott Buenos Aires, one of the "parts" of our uniform was "The Smile". Yeap, put a smile when a 40000 dollar server goes down and 100 people are waiting at the Front Desk. But If you learn how to manage yourself, how to deal with this world, how to learn from the bad moments, joy the good ones, see advantage on situations and not problems in opportunity's, you'll be a full leap ahead in the way of real happiness.

Gotta do what you can to try not to allow the day to defeat you when it comes to work, sleep, and finding free time.
When it wins, it leaves you lazy, using your free time to sit around and do nothing but wallow in boredom.

Yeah, it's okay to indulge in extra sleep and laying about once in a while. You just don't wanna catch yourself doing it all the time, especially when you know you'd rather be doing something to enjoy your free time. (Sometimes you might even NEED the extra sleep and relaxation. lol)

I could never do the "daily work" kinda thing. That's why I work with kids now; there's always something new when you're working with kids. The last job I had damn near killed me with boredom, and indirectly contributed to the ending of a relationship.

yipes! I envy your patients for dealing with children. Im not a huge fan of them. Of course, when they run around the store screaming, throwing paint, climbing on things, pushing customers, etc There isnt much to love >_< I will say retail jobs , specialy this one where i deal with such eccentric people can be amusing. Its just exhausting doing something that pays so little lol

Eh, it's not so bad. Most of my kids are pretty chill, and all but one of 'em loves video games. Seeing as I'm OG NES-style, and continue to play games now, this means we usually mesh pretty well. I've only ever had one kid throw a tantrum on me, and he learned pretty quickly that he won't get away with that while I'm around.
But yeah, most of the time it's me with a kid and his friend and they're trying to get me to beat some level of some video game (or just beat me at the game) and I can't say I mind getting paid for that 
But I like a challenge, so it's pretty fun for me.
