Description Once a long time ago there was a tale about a mighty warrior.  He was very powerful on the battlefields and merciful to his enemies.  One day the warrior found a hidden power deep within the Dark caves.  This power was in the form of a creature unknown to the world.  The warrior saw that the beast needed to taken care of and so he decided to take responsibility for it.  He raised it to be gentle and obedient to him using a magical element called Maz.  The warrior eventually died, leaving the creature now known as the Denziash alone in the world.  The Denziash disappeared into the caves and was never seen again.  The prophecy in this tale is that the warrior would be reincarnated again and save the world from a evil so great that it would take over the world.  The new warrior would yet again find the Denziash and defeat the great evil and become a hero to the land!

I was told it was an emergency.  Something had happened to my younger brother.  Something went wrong and he was in danger.  I couldn't run any faster into the Denziash keep.  When I swung the doors open, I saw the whole room in ruin.  It had looked like something big had run rampant.  I quickly looked around the room before I saw a crowd of people hovering over something and I gunned it to the crowd.  I shoved and pushed my way through the people to see my little brother David laying on the ground in pain.  I quickly went to his side and clutched his body with my arms.  He gripped onto my shirt for support as he tried to speak.

“K-Kelly, Denny…” he gripped harder and clenching his teeth.  I tried my best to console him.

“Shh, save your strength, we need to get you to the medical ward…” I said to him gently as I turned to the crowd. “Has anyone called for a doctor?!”  I asked with a bit of frustration.  The people just looked around a bit confused.  I made a face of pure anger as I barked orders to go and retrieve Doctor Kass from the medical ward.  I looked back down at David to see he had coughed up something on my chest.  Please.  Please don’t be blood.  I looked a bit closer to see the color was a electric purple color.  Maz, it was liquefied Maz.  I just held him closer, rocking him a bit.  Why did this happen?  Why did no one act quickly to get a doctor for him?  There was a more pressing question at the moment, where was the Denziash?

~~~
It had been hours before I was allowed to see David again.  I was waiting in the waiting room with desperation, trying to put the puzzle pieces together in my head.  My feet were tapping with the thoughts rushing through my head.  I was so worried about David, he has always been strong and never showed when he was hurt so seeing him the way he was scared me.  Doctor Kass came into the room in his scrubs and covered with both blood and Maz.  He came and sat beside me ad I looked at him with hopeful eyes.
“Is David alright?” I asked before he had a chance to say anything.  He took a deep breath and closed his eyes.
“He is fine now, or I should say stable at least.  We had to replace a lot of his blood but he is sleeping now.” He stated, reaching for his cigarettes.  I was in a panic.
“Replace his blood?  What do you mean?” I asked as I began playing with my locket.  Dr. Kass had his lighter in the other hand and then sparked the nicotine stick that was perched to his lips.
“What is the best way to explain this?” he said under his breath, blowing out a puff of smoke.  “David’s body simply began to fail.  Most of his organs were on the verge of shutdown when you brought him to the ward.  We had to act fast and find out what the cause was.” He paused and took another puff of his smoke.  His organs began to fail?  My heart felt as if it was on the verge of failing when those words floated out of his mouth like his cigarette smoke.  I gripped my locket tighter.
“F-F-Failing??” I shuddered.  He only nodded and blew out more smoke.
“Yes, at first we thought someone poisoned him, but we didn't find a trace of the poison in his blood.  We ran out of time and just replaced his Maz-mixed blood with normal healthy blood until we can find the cause.” He leaned back resting his arms on the couch behind him.
“You replaced the Maz in his blood stream?   How is he suppose to control the Denziash?” I asked very loudly.  He looked to me with a stern look.
“From what I can suspect, it was the Maz that was KILLING him.” He stated.  I cupped my head in my hands and then looked back to him.
“No, you are wrong, that cannot be the cause of this.  David has had that Maz in his system for YEARS and we have never before had a problem with it.  You are just wrong!” I told Dr. Kass as I stood up and began pacing back and forth.  He simply laid his legs out a bit.
“You are questioning the judgment of a Doctor?  Pretty gutsy for a secretary.” He smiled and laid his head back.  I was hit with a sudden rage and turned to him.
“This coming from a Doctor who smokes?  Excuse me for questioning your judgment!  I mean why else would I be discouraged to listen to you?” I stated, beginning to pace again.  I didn't notice he quickly moved his feet in my way, and I quickly tripped on the ground face first.  He tucked his feet in and then stood taking another puff.
“I am just going to believe that your smart-ass comments are a product of you being worried sick for David.  He needs his rest right and in the meantime I will be running some tests on his old blood samples.  I suggest you find something to do with your time for the next few hours or so.” He said walking back to the operating room, tossing his cigarette on the floor right next to my head.  I watched him leave the room and then sat up and rubbed my nose.  He didn't have to be so rude about it, but he was right.  I was worried about David, I always seem to be the one who is just a door knock away from loosing him.  I suppose that is the life he is destined for as the reincarnated Warrior of legend.  I stood up slowly and shook off the dirt from my clothes and then disposed of the cigarette butt.  I guess I have to find something to do with my time, and I think I know just what.  David asked for Denny right before he blacked out, so I suppose I could use this time to go find him.  David will wake up and then make himself sick again worrying over that stupid Denziash who he cleverly named Denny.
