Aauuhgkfgbsdf -shudders- They are the only bug that when I notice them on me out of nowhere [or even if I saw it coming], I will shriek like someone's trying to kill me.
But I can handle snakes, spiders, wasps/hornets, slugs, praying mantises etc etc no problem.
ONLY roaches make me flip my shit.

I don't know.. it might be their coloration and the spines on their legs.... also that they're fast running around AND they fly AND they crawl up walls.
It's weird, though, because I'm not like this at all with any other bug, even if it looks similar, like beetles, junebugs, grasshoppers, crickets, etcetcetc
I do believe they're unsanitary though, like literally shit where they eat kind stuff? So they probably carry bacteria or something, but that's not why I'm so freaked out by them, though I don't think I could pinpoint a specific reason.
I think their coloration probably has a lot to do with it, if I had to pick a main reason; I've seen them when they're white from having just molted, and I remember liking those... but that never stays, soooo. xD
