Description
This is what happens when I play too much Red Alert 2.
I can't believe it, but this is the first image of Faya al-Azbahkan I've completed in 3 years. She's one of my sadly neglected characters.
For those who are curious, Faya was born to mujahadeen fighters, but was orphaned at the age of two in one of the Communist raids. The raid's commander, a Captain Alexei Khrushtov, found Faya playing with a toy in her parents' tent. Alexei couldn't allow Faya to die in the desert and took Faya home to be raised by him and his wife Nadia. And so she was raised in Slavic lands, although born in the Middle East.
Faya is not really a Communist in the political sense... the regime fell when she was only five years old. But she knows how the hammer and sickle strike fear into people, and adopts it as her emblem.
Here she's dressed as a Soviet Conscript from RA2. Damn, they came up with one sweet design, Westwood did.

"al-Azbahkan" sounds like a nice spin on Azkaban--it's a nice name, gives off a rather erotically dangerous sense.
The fold in the cloth on her left leg looks a bit odd and out of place--partly because there are no other folds visible there. Having no folds whatsoever would make the image look too flat, but adding more folds would make it much more realistic and concise. Just my 2 cents.
Nicely done overall! Her collar and left-hand grip on the rifle are my favourite parts.

Damn, I gotta get that myself. I've never actually beaten the original C&C 95. That was a tough game. RA2 is probably the best of the series... I highly suggest playing RA1 first though... best to start at the beginning.

Awesome picture! lol RE is still one of my fav games! the Soviet's are a great team, especially when you want to over power your opponents. It takes a lot of time though, so I usually just rush right from the start. :3

I'm not a rush guy... but yeah, it does take a while to amass a force of 30 or so tanks.
I find the Allies' Prism Tank far superior to the Soviet Apocalypse tank though.
