My favourite character of all times, owned by Plagey .
Ernest as an anthro, he's a strong-willed and noble-hearted businessman. Also Francis' loving dad.

You're on a roll with these excellent anthro portraits of your cast of characters. Ernest has an expression that is befitting for a compassionate fatherly type, with eyes that are wise and knowledgeable to the world. One can see where Franz gets his fashion sense from in the matching black suit and tie, in difference to Smith's own taste in apparel. The red background marks him as having a dangerous side to those who act rude or uncivil towards him or those he cares about. Otherwise, he can be a best friend to anyone who is polite and well-mannered.

Thank you so much for all the comments! While I like humans more in general, animals and creatures are so fun to draw, I forgot how nice it feels to let loose and draw wilder shapes. Ponies are next, and mayhaps a certain fox...
You are spot on in your analysis. Ernest is a compassionate father figure, the kindest person in Franz' life, and I can't express how much I love him. He's got all those virtues that I strive to possess, and is such a wonderful individual. Panthers are amongst my favourite animals too, so the best of both worlds. Thank you again, Kei. <3
