For being about rabbits, Watership Down is one awesome book.

Great rendition - it's difficult to draw a scarred rabbit like Blackavar and have him look realistic (I know, I"ve tried) you've done very well indeed.
I might go and do some Watership Down fanart of my own. I love that book.

Aww ^w^ I love how he looks here!
He looks really cute even though he's torn to bits.
I love this bunny! he became my favourite character too :3
y'feel really bad for him after all he's been through but then feel really happy when he gets his freedom ^^
nice work on this.

I'll never think of Blackavar the same way ever again. Captures the character of what Blackavar is really like in the book.

If anyone would ever make another adoption of watership down and this would be among the sketches of the character designs, this would totaly be Blackavars appearence in the adoption.

I love that movie!
It used to make me cry when I watched it as a kid though...

This is incredible! *Faves* Beautiful and horrifying (in a good way, of course) at the same time.
He was definitely one of my favorite characters, too. But then they killed him off in the film (WTF?! He lived in the book!)
Anyway, I love, love, love it!

Oh wow.
It's BLACKAVAR!.
Needless to say, I always loved him. Possibly not quite so much as that gull whose name escapes me right at this moment, but he was my favourite rabbit.
AHA! KEEHAR!

EVIL EASTER BUNNY!!!
and i'm going to join the war against how YOUR lecture doodles are not really lecture doodles. They're far too intricate.

I LOVE Watership Down! It was my favorite movie growing up. I like your design for Blackavar, it looks more like how I imagined him in the book rather than the movie; less repressed and more aware.

Me too! That and The Last Unicorn! I never quite liked the movie design, he didnt seem to me to be able to live up to who he was supposedly if he was the way he was when they met him... did that make sense?

lol, enough anyway. Yeah, I always wanted him to look stronger but not necessarily phisically, more mentally tough I guess.
